I enjoyed learning about nutrition and how our thinking has changed over time. Especially on what fats are good and bad for you. Totally opposite on how we grew up. Enjoyed learning what sugar does to you. We already ate very healthy, but was amazed to learn how we could do even better. After 3 weeks without sugar some foods (certain desserts) do not even look good anymore. Amazed how certain foods now taste sweet when they never did before.

Honestly, giving up sugar was not so bad! I felt so full and satisfied all the time that I didn't notice any cravings. I loved the avocado pudding when my family was eating treats like ice cream.

I LOVED the cookbook! Also loved the curriculum, it had clear information in it. Cutting out the food items was tough, but also easy in many ways. It kept things simple. Be kind to yourself and go for progress, not perfection!

I liked the program because by adding fat, I will be able to better curb my need for refined flour/corn items. I always needed crunchy/salty/carb stuff, and although I still crave chocolate and fruit and bread, I don't crave the crunchy stuff as much.
